First I want to say, Great work! really you're doing a great job, but there is many things that needs improvement, I'll just go thought what IMO needs improvement (Other people might think different.). Watch this and get ideas.

www.megaupload.com/?d=7KO2PF7T

It's LunaticHai Vs SKgaming CPL 2005finals. They have 3 people casting not just one, ( i'm not saying get 3, but imo you need two, two people would make it better, With two people you can/should also have 2 pc's OR just laptops, because I reckon with two people you can sort of like talk to him about stuff/ agree with him and stuff, and it just sounds alot better, not just one person for 30mins.. two people talk to each other etc etc etc, so i think two people is ideal, and also with two people and 2 pc's or laptops you can kind of cut out all of that b.s changing though people, like player to player, then changing to overview and then from that back to the players, looks really bad to much screwing around, eg. with two you can have one watching the player you're talk about and while that's happening you can look for the other player you're going to talk about or a player that just done something b1g. then when you go to edit it cuts out all that ugly moving/swapping players, or you're talking about something while watching a player on one pc and then you go to talk about something to do with the map, so u want to go overview so on the 2nd pc u go in overview and then when u edit the vid u just cut it straight to that 2nd pc instead of seeing you stuff around to try and get to it, but i dno it's really hard to explain and im just going on and on LOL SORRY, k so thats that, also less of you, best times to show you is the start of the round while in buy time, if u had a 2nd person u can have a quick chat about the last round with the 2nd person in buytime, and as for ash, you're doing a great job, but you can do so much better, if you and woodz ( soz :SS ) get more knowledge about the game/ positions on the map and stuff, coz many times woodz u've stuffed up some calls, and ash things like what was the score 15-2? simple shit like 15-2 obv cant be a final score.. AND ash i heard you say at the half, so what side are you now t's (when they were just t's) so it really shows he wasn't watching the game at all, or he has no idea about the game LOL, and there are many other things you have stuffed up on ash. so simply getting more knowledge about cs and casting would help HEAPS, watch that video up there it should help abit. what else, dno but i'm sure theres other really minor stuff, main thing i reckon is you need two people.

--Sorry if half the stuff i said i didn't really explain well at all, hope you get the idea and improve on some of this stuff

p.s i love you all.

bulletproof puts forth alot of good ideas, definately need more than one commentator, just makes watching it more interesting and good discussions can arise from two commentators. Also the 2 PC's spectating the game, more coverage, viewing one person per team, per round. But overall guys, very well done, a good improvement from the 1st/2nd eps. you made me famous!

I really believe two people will make the show alot more exciting, and hopefully we can get some teams that are at the same level and pull off really close games, so we can hear some yelling, some banter from team to team, loud calls from players, to hopefully get the players alot bet excited aswell. iM were beating the other team so bad they just started buying smgs, using knifes it was just all joking around after, with a closer game and two commentators, it will be al0t better, also it was like 1-10 to iM and on the scores that u edited in it had 1 explosive 9 iM, so make sure when u finish editing it all, go over it and make sure everything is fineD

also there is a reso in cs, not sure which one but it makes all the names and writing look alot bigger, so you can see it easier. its not a low reso, im pretty sure, but if u could find out which one it is, its great!

oh LOL sorry ideas just keep coming, but is there going to be an actually league/ LAN ladder happen soon where teams come and play off every 2nd week or so, instead of just 2 random teams playing against each other everygame, coz tbh they dnt take it srs and u can tell but if there was a ladder or such and prizes for the winner they would come to there game very 2nd week or so and be excited to win try alot harder, yell lots really get into the game, when theres something on sake, so a ladder system or something as such is something you also need. ( if you werent already thinking of this or already said something about it )

On the Homepage there is "View Comments / Download"

And if you click the videos at the bottom of the homepage you can see their download links too.

Probably should just edit your posts rather than posting so many times

Woodz has actually been interviewing people for the 2nd caster for a little while now. Next season will most likely have multiple casters. He's also working on getting more teams at the same skill level.

When you embed the video make sure you include a resolution in the code that is the correct ratio. At the moment the embed player is stretching the video to 4:3 when it should be 16:9.

edit: That might not fix it in fullscreen but I think that's just a bug in JW Player. Unless he has fixed that in an update.

this feedback is great thanks, ill have a good look at the Lunatic Hai SK match thats defiantly more down the line of stuff we are looking to do.

the team is pretty confident we have got the production values down pat, camera work ect now its time we start working hard on improving the quailty of the show, bringing on other casters, and sharpening up the whole tournament side of it.

got any other thoughts on how we can improve the tournament?

Cheers for the feedback bulletproof. I can only respond regarding technical production, so i'll just reply on that front

Unfortunately re: the suggestion of cutting between two laptops, there are some things that make that technically difficult for us at the moment (not having masses of cash for equipment is a big one )

Just to clarify how the recording of the show works from our perspective, the entire show is switched live, so the game footage and all the cameras are chosen and recorded in real time, we don't edit it in to the show later. The only elements currently added in edit are score graphics, and the opening sequence and credits (it's how we can manage to get the show out so quickly!)

In terms of Ash knowing what was going on in the game, unfortunately for him it was very tough to be able to watch the in-game, just due to the way the studio was set up technically (due to time constraints, mostly). We'll try to address that one next time as well.

Any more suggestions, please, let us know!

If the video's encoded correctly, flash should pick up the aspect ratio. I don't actually remember any way to tell flash from a client side coding point of view that a video is 16:9.

That doesn't usually stretch out the video, it'll likely just give you black bars on the left and right, unfortunately.
