ZOMG ManaBar is finally opening and my three favourite past times are about to be combined!

So if you're like me, you enjoy going out. Though sometimes I find that my Tshirt isn't tight enough nor my pupils dilated enough. The nightlife in Australia is great, though its about to be a whole lot better!

So how do I explain this? Imagine a nice cocktail bar, friendly staff, good drinks, all the good stuff you want when heading out for a night on the town. Then.. Add a bucket load of Nintendo Wii's, Xbox 360's, PS3's & all the latest games to enjoy you want to play on your favourite night in!

Yes this is ManaBar and it's launching this Saturday in Brisbane's nightlife precinct, fortitude valley!
Though what does this mean for Aussy gamers? Well in fact this is a great stepforward for mainstream gaming. Back in the day a 'Gamer' implied you were over weight, antisocial & and choice of food was frozen pizzas.

Though this week 'Gamers' line up next to 'clubbers' to enjoy a night out in a way full of awesome-sauce.

Brisbane's ManaBar is a great example of how gaming is expanding across mainstream culture. In Sydney, one gaming company has is building a similar gaming bar focused on Racing Simulators. In Melbourne, Galactic Circus Arcade is part of the states biggest nightlife spot, Crown Casino.

Like in the 50's when Billiards were considered to be a gateway to laziness, gambling, smoking & cheating on your wife! (yes, wiki that shiz). It took pioneers to create pool halls, stick to their passion and know that billiards is a great adult pastime.

Today gaming is taking that same transition. From the Mario in the 80's to the Call of Duty of today, tomorrow holds a gaming culture for us all to share & enjoy together!

GLHF, Hope to make it up to the Manabar opening this weekend!

Dont ask me why Basshunter is at the bottom of the list, for some reason our article writer is enforcing it as a youtube video :-X
